Thailand International Kite Festival to Soar into the Sky in Hua Hin

Thailand International Kite Festival will take place at the Army Non Commissioned Officer School at Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan on March 23-25 this year. About 100 terrific kites will be presented by 20 kite flying teams from different countries, Switzerland, Germany and France among them. 

The giant kites in different forms from cartoon characters to geometric form ones will stir your imagination. Whole families will be involved into Family Fun Kite activity to fly kites together.The guests will observe the kites and take pictures with the famous kite-flyers during Ringside Kite Tour.  

During the festival the guests will be able to participate in other activities as well like making kites during Kite Art Fun and DIY Activities; learning how to make a boomerang and how to throw it at the Boomerang Workshop; decorating an area with kites and other objects moving with the wind like mobiles at Wind Garden activity. Chula and Pak Pao show will demonstrate unique Thai kites dancing under the accompaniment of Thai classical music Pi Phat ensemble. Food trucks will let you try authentic Hua Hin food. And, of course, you can buy kites at Kite Weekend Market.
