Bangkok to Korat night buses hit the road

Thai bus operator Nakhonchai 21 has added evening and night buses to its schedule for the Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima route. The extra buses inaugurated on Saturday with a special VIP hostess service and increased the options for people travelling between two of Thailand’s biggest cities.

Nakhonchai 21 originally launched service on the busy route last December with 26 buses. This fleet was not large enough to offer night buses. With the addition of another 21 buses, Nakhonchai was able to increase service hours.

Kunthira Wongbenjarat Chaiyut is the firm’s deputy MD and he said travellers had asked for longer operating hours. Customers travelling between Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima, or Korat as it is known to most Thais, have multiple choices.

12GO ASIA says bus and passenger van from Bangkok’s Morchit Terminal are complemented by the option of taking the train or booking a taxi. With the addition of new flight routes from Phuket and Chiang Mai launched by Newgen Airways, Korat is rapidly evolving into a major travel hub for Thailand’s Home Countries.
