Hua Hin Waterpark stages One Piece Manga fun run

Vana Nava Waterpark in Hua Hin is preparing to stage a fun run to celebrate a carnival based on the Japanese manga cartoon characters in One Piece. Runners have a choice of five and ten kilometre circuits on Sunday, but will have to get up early as registration is at 05:00.

The organisers of the run say all are welcome to join in and that the nine key characters in the One Piece cartoons will be participating. These include Frankie and Monkey D Luffy. Those joining the ten kilometre run will set off at 05:45 and the five-kilometre runners 15 minutes later.

12GO ASIA says a look at ThaiTicketMajor’s online sales webpage shows there are still entry tickets available. Tickets are available for solo runners, groups and as a combo package including the cost of admission to Vana Nava Waterpark Jungle.

The One Piece fun run is a part of the six-week-long carnival based on the manga characters which kicked off at the beginning of December. The carnival gives the rare opportunity of interactive experiences with one of Japan’s most famous and fun exports.
