Thai VietJet Air Bangkok to Dalat flights line up for takeoff

Thai VietJet Air has confirmed flights from Bangkok to Dalat will start up on the 18 December. Flights will operate once in each direction with operational days slated for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

12GO ASIA says a look at the airline’s timetables shows the outbound service from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport will leave at 10:30 and land in Dalat 1 hour 45 minutes later. Return flights are scheduled for takeoff at 12:55 and landing timed back in Bangkok is at 14:40.

Thai VietJet will utilise its Airbus A320-200 aircraft to serve the route. These are configured to accommodate 180 passengers. The airline is a budget carrier and the Thailand headquartered subsidiary of Vietnam’s VietJet Air. In addition to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thai VietJet flies to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Phuket in Thailand.

Dalat is located in Vietnam’s central highlands and is a popular destination for tourists. A cooler than average climate compared to other parts of Vietnam, pine forests, eclectic floral species, golf, French period architecture and Xuan Huong Lake are among the unique Dalat sights, activities and experiences.
