Lion Air has started to work in Thailand

One of the best low-cost carriers in Asia Lion Air  based in Indonesia has opened its first subsidiary in Thailand. On Wednesday the airline launched its first flight from Bangkok (Don Muang Airport) to Chiang Mai.

One of the best low-cost carriers in Asia Lion Air  based in Indonesia has opened its first subsidiary in Thailand. On Wednesday the airline launched its first flight from Bangkok (Don Muang Airport) to Chiang Mai.

It’s expected that Lion Air might become a strong competitor to market leader Thai Air Asia.

At the present time the air fleet of airline consists of only two Boeing B737-900, but they plan to expand it and to launch more routes. In the next year Thai Lion Air is going to offer Bangkok-Hat Yai, Bangkok-Singapore, Bangkok- Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok-Jakarta routes.
