The work of northern Thai railroad has been resumed today

Today the first train was launched from Chiang Mai since 16 September, when the renovation of the northern railroad of Thailand was started.

Today the first train was launched from Chiang Mai since 16 September, when the renovation of the northern railroad of Thailand was started. The repairs took longer than planned, on the railway from Chiang Mai to the Sila-At station in Uttradit province the workers replaced all the sleepers and some rails.

According to Chadchart Sittipunt, Transport Minister of the repair of 300 km northern Thai railroad is totally completed now. Enjoy your train trips in Thailand!
