Lion Air will base in Bangkok

One of the best low coster of Indonesia, Lion Air is going to use bas its new regional hub to increase its influence in the Southeast Asia. Bangkok is strategically important point and by using it Lion Air declares itself as a real competitor of main budget airline of Thailand - Thai Air Asia.

Next month Lion Air plans to launch flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) to Jakarta, and a little bit later –  to Kuala Lumpur, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Phuket and Udon Thani. Moreover the Airline plans to offer flights to South Korea and Japan, which is one the main tourist markets on the region.
