The cultural extravaganza at one of Thailand’s favourite seaside resorts will offer something for all comers. Culture and folk art performances plus shows by contemporary Thai bands and singers are high up on the agenda. Light and sound extravaganzas will provide that wow factor under the night sky.
Some of the performers and local council officers at the event have already stated they will be wearing retro getups to provide glimpses of vintage Hua Hin. A highlight of the proceedings is a parade to mark the auspicious date back in 1950 when the royal couple got married.
The parade is scheduled for 28 April and will follow a route from the resort’s clock tower to Queen’s Park. A spokesperson for Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Hall told reporters the opening ceremonies to mark the start of the festival will be staged at 19:30 tomorrow and that everybody was welcome.
