Second swish U Hotel for Chiang Mai

Luxury hotelier group Absolute Hotel Services has announced it will open a second property in Chiang Mai. A statement released by the group says the U Chiang Mai’s sister property is set to welcome its first guests in the latter half of next year.

The U Nimman Chiang Mai will occupy a prime spot on the northern Thai city’s trendy Nimmanhemin Road. The 140-room establishment is a pleasing fusion of historic Thai Lanna design and modern industrial chic.

Guest amenities at the U Nimman will include a swimming pool, a spa with segregated treatment chambers, a fully-equipped fitness room and a restaurant with outdoor patio. It will incorporate landscaped gardens and a 700-metre² function room.

The new U will also work on Absolute’s standard 24-hour check-in system which allows guests a full 24 hours before they need to check out. Breakfasts are served under the same concept and available 24/7.

Absolute’s U Chiang Mai property is centrally located in the Old City quarter on Ratchadamnoen Road. It features a cluster of heritage structures which have been revamped to provide discerning travellers with a haven of tranquillity plus amenities and services which cater to their every whim.
