Air travel is obviously the fastest way to get to your destination. Gone are the times when it was inevitably very expensive. With the introduction of low-cost airlines worldwide, travelling by plane has also become much more affordable than before. Even if you are on a budget, do not overlook flight tickets as the airfares are now not higher than what you pay for a train or bus trip. When booking a flight, always check the airport of departure and arrival as some of the destinations, both bigger and medium-sized, are served by more than one air haven or have several terminals within one and the same airport which can be located a long way from one another. Studying the schedule and other travellers’ reviews will help you to plan your journey to avoid mistakes and disappointment. Before you fly, remember to read your airline’s travel rules and requirements which can differ greatly from one airline to another. Calculate the time you need to get to the airport terminal and go through check-in and security formalities, and in the case of international flights ensure you carry a valid passport with you.
Philippines AirAsia offers easy and straightforward online reservations for flights to various destinations. Double-check the date and the price before you confirm your booking.

Philippines AirAsia Top Destinations
Here is the list of the routes of Philippines AirAsia which enjoy the greatest popularity with travellers
and are always in high demand:
Ticket price depends on the seat class, departure time and day of the week, length of the route and demand. Obviously, the cheapest seats sell out very fast, and an advance reservation is a must to secure one. Many airlines run promotions – to grab the best deals, subscribe to
airlines’ social media accounts, and become a member of their frequent flier programs. Some airlines allow members of such programs to get discounted tickets or access to the best deals a couple of days before such tickets are available to all travellers.
Please note that some ticket classes do not include anything but the trip itself. You may be asked to pay extra for offline check-in, and choosing your seat, luggage, and meals. It may look inconvenient but if you are ready to travel light, can survive a couple of hours without eating on board, are ready to depart or arrive out of rush hours and to and from less convenient airports, such fares provide a good opportunity to save some money on your further travels.
Travel by Flight: Pros & Cons
Pros of Flight Travel
Without a doubt, planes are the best choice for long-haul travel covering the
distance between the two destinations in the shortest time possible. Even if
you add the time for getting to and from the airport and the time necessary to
go through all the airport formalities, you still win time-wise. Sometimes it is also the only way to get to your destination without many connections, too.
With many budget airlines introducing domestic and international routes, flying becomes more and more affordable. Sometimes an air ticket will cost you even less than a train or bus ticket. Do check your options even if you are used to bussing or rail travel, especially if you travel domestically.
While very often there are enough options in the sense of departure and arrival times,
price, and ticket class to choose from with direct flights, connecting flights offer even a wider choice and may prove a better option to grab.
Cons of Flight Travel
Travelling to and from the airport may take quite a lot of time as very often they are situated in the outskirts or out of town. Not all airports can boast easy and straightforward transport solutions for travellers to get to and from the air haven. Do check your options before you book the ticket as in some cases this trip to the airport can be even more expensive than your air ticket itself.
All airlines require you to arrive well in advance to check in, register your luggage and go through security checks. For short-distance flights, these formalities may result in longer travel time than that offered by buses or trains.
There are people who suffer from aerophobia, and flying may be a stressful experience for them, especially if flying domestically on smaller planes prone to turbulence.

The flight itself is very good, however your e-ticket edition has a big gap, it lacks the notion of the terminal, but the terminal in Manila is an airport in itself, there is no connection between the different terminals, we almost missed the plane!!! and having to take a taxi all with a 2-year-old baby: a nightmare that has a cost for foreigners

Flight was delayed 1.5 hours at airport, then once boarded was grounded due to a thunderstorm for a further 2 hours. The only snacks available where very unpleasant noodles and nuts as everything else wasn’t stocked, despite offering a full menu and range of snacks. How was the food availability so low little when boarding the plane, especially after a 1.5 hour delay at the airport.

Besides the awkward check-in line, the staff seemed to be a little 'unfocused' and demur in attitude... As well, it was difficult to get any attention from the flight associates, as they were busy serving meals and drinks to 'paying' customers, that took way too much time... perhaps that process could be improved much better for all future flights - there's got to be an easier way to go about that.

I would give it 4 stars but the check in lines to drop the baggage were long and slow. Once I finally reached the bag drop the staff was very helpful and proficient. The Aircraft was clean and well maintained. The flight crew well trained and professional. The flight crew was very professional but meal service was terribly slow because each passenger was sold their meal or coffee or drink then money collected and change made a terribly slow process. That is why I always try to avoid budget Air carriers after you buy the ticket, pay security fees, airport fees, taxs, luggage fees, meals and drink fees, it not any cheaper than full service carriers. Overall a good clean, safe, on time flight.
