I had booked a trip with a sleeping cabin but half way I got transferred to a normal bus. It all went smooth but was not what I booked :(

Ride from Phong Nha to Hoi An was scheduled for 7h but took almost 8,5h though there was no traffic jam. Neither LED Screen nor massage function was working. Snack was only handed out after the first break. Also there was only one official toilet break in 8,5hrs. No toilet in the bus. Driver was quite rude. Overall average experience, but we arrived. Would chose another company next time.

The vehicle was great - as one the pictures (only belt was uncomfortable to sleep witch), but... The service was terrible. First, no one knew if it is the right bus (looked different on the outside). Second - the bus service. Bus started at 22:40. The bus had all lights up till about 1 AM. Around midnight guy from service decided it is good idea to distribute to everyone Bahn mi (it was sleeper bus, most people were sleeping and he woke them - me in it - up). Then around 0:30 he started loudly talking through the phone while sitting in the middle of the bus. After reminding him to be more quiet, he just wagged his finger at me and ignored me. Kept loudly talking for the next 15 minutes. So the sleeping was great 👍 (but only after 1 AM).

The bus ride itself was comfortable, but unfortunately the drivers were not polite and did not make us feel welcome. At one point, my sister urgently needed to use the restroom—she was in real pain. When we asked if the bus could stop, the driver simply said, “30 more minutes.” We found this very inhumane. After asking several more times, they eventually stopped about 10–15 minutes later. When we arrived in Da Nang and were transferring to a taxi to Hoi An, I was putting on my shoes, which took no more than two minutes. The driver kept rushing me, which felt unnecessary and quite rude. On top of that, one of the drivers was making loud phone calls throughout the entire night, almost continuously, making it difficult to rest. Until now, I have only had positive experiences booking buses through 12Go, but I was genuinely relieved when this journey was over.

I felt like I paid for a standard service but got a VIP upgrade, as the bed was much more spacious and comfortable this time. The drivers were polite and drove carefully, and we arrived well ahead of schedule. The restroom, though small, was clean.
