Der erste Minibus von Khao Sok war zu überfüllt mit Menschen und Rucksäcken. Uns wurde gesagt, wir sollten ganz hinten sitzen, so dass die Rucksäcke in uns hineingestopft wurden und wir nicht viel Platz für unsere Füße hatten, da die Rucksäcke auch unter den Sitz gelegt wurden. Der Bus von Surat Thani war viel besser! Ein größerer Bus, Rucksäcke unter dem Bus und eine funktionierende Klimaanlage. Wir wurden kurz vor dem Pier abgesetzt und mussten einen Buszug zum Pier nehmen, der wiederum zu überfüllt war und wir mussten zwei Züge verpassen, da ständig Busse ankamen und Leute aufsprangen. Es herrschte keine Ordnung. Die Fähre war gut, die Zimmer waren klimatisiert, wenn man vorne nach ihnen suchte.
Als wir Surat Thani erreichten, mussten wir über eine Stunde auf den nächsten Bus warten, wenn man also Hunger hat, sollte man einen Abstecher in den Laden an dieser Haltestelle machen. Am Fährhafen hatten wir keine Zeit, denn als wir in einen Buszug stiegen, waren wir gerade dabei, die Fähre zu besteigen, da auch der zweite Bus fast eine halbe Stunde Verspätung hatte.

The first mini bus from Khao Sok was too crowded with people and backpacks. We were told to sit at the very back so had backpacks digging into us and not much room for our feet as backpacks were also put under the seat. The bus from Surat Thani was much better! Bigger bus, backpacks underneath the bus and working aircon. We got dropped off just before the pier and has to take a bus train to the pier that again was too overcrowded and we had to miss two trains as buses kept arriving and people jumping on. There was no order to it. Ferry was good, aircon rooms if you went looking for them at the front.
Once we reached Surat Thani we had to wait over an hour for the next bus so if you are hungry make sure you take a trip to the shop at this stop. We had no time at the ferry port as by time we got on a bus train we were boarding the ferry as the second bus was almost half an hour late too.

Minivan war zu voll, 14 Personen auf kleinen Sitzen, sehr heiß, sehr wenig Klimaanlage oder Frischluft. Viele Stopps und eine Stunde Wartezeit in Surattani. Boot war in Ordnung

Alles ok, über 2 Stunden Wartezeit an der Fähre. Der Transfer von Khao Sok bis zur Fähre hätte deutlich später stattfinden können.

The driver from Khao Sok to Surat Thani was constantly on his phone. I didn't always feel safe. In addition the car was too hot, the AC didn't work properly.

No one explained that we will be passed around in 5 different cars, and the ferry was stinky and poor.

First part of the trip was in an overcrowded minivan with luggage. That was really uncomfortable and not safe in case of anyrhing would happen. The 2nd en 3rd part in a big bus and ferry was fine.

All great and on time, only problem was that we were told to go to the pier which had an earlier boat departing from it than the one we were meant to get. You’d think that’s a bonus but as some of the family went straight away to the pier when called, and one came 5 mins after, in that time the boat had departed (as it was an earlier boat) and we were separated for the trip. All ok in the end and reunited in koh phangan but I think operator needs to explain that there are multiple boats if sending people to the pier early and there is a risk of not being on the right boat.
