Me and my friend really wanted to take the class A private cabin. Already paid for it and suddenly got a msg saying train only left with upper berth. Its always full. Very disappointed. The curtain for the bed was dusty, my nose was itchy the whole time. Oh ya and the aircond was too damn cold triggered my sinus even more. No lights-off, it was too bright at night made it hard for some people to sleep. At least dim the light a little.
I did get a good sleep bcos of the mattress, blanket and the pillow was really comfortable. I would ride this train again hopefully get to experience the class A private or at least the female coach.
I have a great experience with this sleeper train…the staff was helpful, the train was clean, the bed was cozy..everything are nice!!very recommended to ride this sleeper train!!
Nuestro tren llegaba con retraso pero no sé si lo informaron o no lo entendimos.a nuestra hora llego un tren y nos montamos en el.cuando fuimos a nuestro número de camas estaba ocupado.nuestra sorpresa fue que nos habíamos montado en el tren equivocado.el personal fue muy amable ,nos bajaron en otra estación y allí se comunicaron con el otro tren y en medio de la noche pudimos montar en nuestro tren.
The first class cabin was comfortable and fairly quiet. The train from Hua Hin to Hat Yai was on time and smooth ride all the way. I would take the train again on return to Hua Hin.

After waiting another hour, at an unknown location, they placed me and my luggage into a small minivan. As a result, we made a circle, stopped at a gas station, after which the car returned to where it left, after which the driver refused to go. After waiting for an undetermined amount of time, I was put into a small tuk-tuk and taken to the bus station in the nearest town. Where I still had to wait for a long time. As a result, they put me in another minivan. They demanded that I pay money for the ticket, although I had paid everything in advance. They refused to provide proof of payment or a new ticket.
So we had to drive for another five hours. I bought a ticket for a VIP bus and was not warned that I would be woken up in the middle of the night and forced to shake in a small car, holding my luggage so that it did not roll around the car. I also got seasick in the small, shaking car. Paying for VIP, I expected a different attitude. While the workers were moving my luggage from car to car, the entire suitcase was worn out.
