The checking in process was smooth and easy, the trip was ok, the crew was nice. However, I was going to Gili Air and out of the blue we were told that it was not possible, due to a heavy current, to dock there, so we went all the way to Lombok and then back to Gili Air in a smaller local speedboat, which somehow was more fit for the strong current than the big one.

I would have preferred go with public ferry than choosing semayaone.
I booked a ferry from Sanur to Gili Air. The journey time was advertised as 2 hours and 15 minutes. However, immediately after departure, we were informed that the ferry would first stop at Nusa Penida and then Gili Trawangan before continuing to Gili Air. As a result, the actual travel time was around 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Based on my experience, there is no realistic way for the advertised travel time of 2 hours and 15 minutes to be achieved on this route. I found this misleading, as the actual itinerary was clearly known in advance.
In addition, there were significantly more passengers on board than available seats. We also experienced issues when buying drinks, as incorrect change was given multiple times, always in the company’s favor. This left a very negative impression.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. Due to the misleading travel time information, the overcrowding, and the problems on board, I would not use this ferry company again and cannot recommend it.

Booked with starfish but travelled with tanis fast cruise, left 15 minutes late and travel time was an hour longer. We had specifically paid a little more to be on the faster boat/fewer stops.

AC was broken. Inside smelled like gasoline and cigarettes. They were working on the boat while we were using it so it stopped several times.
Poor aircon, cracks on the fiber of the ship taht mooved when itting bigger waves. Not very safe on BIG waves.
