3. Klasse war ein Erlebnis für sich! Mit offenem Fenster und Ventilatoren an der Decke lässt es sich aushalten. Auch, dass ab und an ein paar Sitzkissen abgebrochen sind gehört zum charm der 3. Klasse. Außerdem hat jedes Ticket einen festen Sitzplatz, sodass man sich keine Sorge über einen Stehplatz machen muss. Wir sind zwar pünktlich abgefahren aber 40min später angekommen. Aufgefallen ist das aber nicht.
Touris werden sogar kurz vor dem Ausstieg darauf hingewiesen, dass sie aussteigen müssen - ansonsten gibt es keine Durchsage.
Where to begin? Rather than flying, we wanted to see more of thailand, so went to Phitsanulok by train and onto Sukhothai via taxi (about 700baht). The train journey was "memorable". 4.5hrs from Bangkok, stopped countless times, 2nd class was basic and rickety even by UK Northern Rail standards, and the onward journey to chiang mai is a further 6hrs. But still don't regret it, and if you have an element of adventure about you, worth trying. Was lucky that we ended up in Phitsanulok during the flower festival. The night market was great, and where else can you get an hours foot or body massage for 130baht. Exchange your money before you get here and expect there to be none of the usual "tourist things" here.
Honestly, everything went really well. I had been worried about the air conditioning—having read that they keep it blasting and won't turn it off—but that turned out not to be the case; you can actually adjust the vent above your seat yourself. It’s true that no English is spoken on the bus, and you might feel a bit lost upon arrival at the station—since some passengers stay on board (even though it’s the end of the line) and the driver's assistant can't really tell you if it's the final stop or not—but otherwise, the seats were comfortable, and there was a good blanket in case you got cold.
P.S. Giving the curtains a shake every now and then wouldn't hurt, just to keep the dust down 😉

Information given on mail about check in was totally wrong including location 2hete to do check in.

I like this booking Plattform. The coaches mostly in time. We get some drink and a Snack.
But I don't like the Toilette situation. It is very discusting. Very small.
There are so many Petrolstations alone the tour.
If we have a journey over 6 hour, why we can not do one stop and we can go all together to the Toilette for about 10 minutes. After we go further.
