Etienne CWe booked with 12go a week ago from Ao Nang to Thong Sala pier and everything went well so we were expecting a similar experience for this trip, yet it is not what happened.
This time we booked from Thong Sala pier to Hat Yai. The ferry was all good and on time, the pick up at Donsak Pier as well but then the van to go to Hat Yai was bad.
The van was 1 hour late, we didn’t have any explanation on why and when it was arriving.
Then when we had to go in the van, the driver explained that they were too many people on the van so one of us had to seat on a plastic stool. It was a 4h30 driver… I reached out to the WhatsApp number, the person called the driver and the driver asked someone else in the van to seat on the plastic stool instead of us. It was so embarrassing as we assumed that anyone who was on this van had paid and should get a real seat and not seat on a stool… the driver told us some people were leaving after 1h so we could take their seat so we decided to wait but the 1h ended up to be 2h.
At the end of the trip I reached out to support to say we were unhappy with the situation and it was clearly a booking issue and she said I was trying to travel for free which is not the case at all. We just assume that we should get a fair service when we pay for it. So far we didn’t receive either recognition or any form of compensation, very disappointing.
