Die Betreuung im Vorfeld per Mail und WhatsApp durch Nicko war super. Aaaaaber: Der Fahrer ist gefahren wie ein Irrer, durchgehend auf der Hupe später in Kombination mit Lichthupe, nur in riskantesten Überholmanövern gefahren! Beinahe hätte er einen kleinen Jungen auf einem Fahrrad umgefahren - haarscharf dank einer Vollbremsung kam er Zentimeter vor diesem zum Stehen. Der Van war komplett überfüllt; alle Notsitze wurden mitbenutzt. Die Pausen waren viel zu lang. Es gab eine Mittagspause von gut anderthalb Stunden, nach der es einen neuen Van mit weniger Leuten geben sollte. Pustekuchen; alles beim Alten. Wir waren heilfroh, als wir endlich gesund in Siam Reap waren.

Our bus from Don Det to Siem Reap was scheduled to arrive at 5:00 PM, but we ended up two and a half hours late. The company made us wait at the Laos-Cambodian border for two hours just to fill the van with people from outside our group. Even with zero traffic, the delay was massive. Very disappointing.

Pickup for boat was on time and transport to border crossing was smooth. However we had to wait over an hour for other group of
people who were heading to Siem Reap. The company should have timed it better so that we were not waiting in the heat. The staff were very friendly and helpful and van was comfortable. Also be aware NO ATM at/before border so get USD in big city before doing visa on arrival

The trip was supposed to take 7 hours but was delayed almost 4 hours. This was mainly because of unexplained waiting times. The lunch break for example took 1:45h even though it was meant to only take 45 minutes and all passengers were ready. The departure in the morning was also a lot later even though all passengers and minivans were on site and seemed ready.

From Don Det to the border and from the border to Stung Treng it was ok. After we passed in a minivan with a crazy driver, driving with headphones and passing all the cars and trucks dangerously. We all finished adjusting the safety belt, not sure to arrive alive!

Wo booked the transfer from Don Det to Siem Reap. It took us much longer than expected because we had to change vehicles many times, and wait forever for whatever driver etc.
