Ich wurde per WhatsApp über die ungefähre Ankunftszeit des Buses informiert. Der Bus war wie erwartet. Der Fahrstil des Busfahrers war crazy wie erwartet.
Luxus ist natürlich anders, aber sicher einer der bequemeren Sleeper Bus.
First the ticket said one bus station, main central, but it left out of a different place. We weren't told there was a wc on board and we're not given any water. The drivers knew our destination was Tam Coc and we were expecting to arrive around 8am. Luckily, we woke up at 5:30am and as the bus was leaving the station I asked where we were. They said Tam Coc and I asked why were told! We had to get off the bus at the side of the road as it had already left the station. Thankfully we woke up in time as we would have been stopping atthe next stop. Was not impressed.
Es gibt keine Toilette in dem 34VIP, alle nicht vietnamesisch Gäste mussten oben verbringen wo am meisten schaukelt und die untern Plätze waren für die einheimischen, die teilweise auch frei geblieben sind.ständig sind wir angehalten, weil jemand von den Fahrern rauchen war und es wurde nicht Bescheid gegeben. Die 2 Stops unterwegs waren von den Toiletten her Katastrophe. Stehklos die nicht angeschlossen waren also hat man sich selbst auf die Füße gemacht. Bei den Frauen war es nicht besser .
Es gab aber immerhin eine Flasche Wasser und eine Decke
Der Wagon war in keinem besseren Zustand als der Wagon der 2.Klasse der Bahn. An den Betten hing teilweise die Kunstlederverkleidung schon runter.
Wir hatten Glück, dass wir alleine waren.
Das Zugpersonal hat die ersten drei Stunden so laut auf seinem Smartphone Musik gehört und Videos geguckt, sodass wir bei geschlossener Tür alles mitbekommen haben, obwohl wir weit weg waren. An schlafen war so nicht zu denken.
Der doppelte Preis im Vergleich zu einem einfachen Bahnticket hat sich nicht gelohnt.
Bus startete mit Verspätung von über 1 Std. Es stiegen mit der Zeit überall zufällig noch Personen hinzu, die scheinbar kein Ticket hatten. Sie lagen dann einfach im Mittelgang und berührten einem während des Schlafs und schnarchten. Schlaf war somit unmöglich. Der Bus stoppte mitten auf der viel befahrenen Straße weit außerhalb, wo kein Grab funktioniert und Taxifahrer einen versuchen abzuziehen und überhöhte Preise verlangen. Alles in einem keine gute Erfahrung.
Honestly this was the best sleeper bus we have been on so far. There was a toilet on board and we made one stop half way through at a small restaurant for people to get food. The driving wasn’t too mad like we have experienced before. We arrived 2 hours early and were dropped on the side of the road about a 10 minute drive out of town so we had to get a taxi, but even at 4am we got one very quickly and it wasn’t too expensive.
The only bad thing was that the driver was quite rude and when we realized the bus had stopped right near our hostel, he wouldn’t let us get off, and we had to get off after he had driven 10 minutes in the wrong direction.
It's not a scenic ride though the country side, it's more packed into small bed as you wait for the time to pass. It's not a bad experience I just wouldn't try and do it again if I had better options
The bus was actually nice but Ive been on a few sleeper buses and never felt unsafe until this one. The driver was speeding and swerving and slamming on the brakes the whole time and everyone was flying around. Totally unnecessary because we got there 3 hrs ahead of time anyway. We were supposed to be dropped off in town at 8am instead got dropped off 3km away from where we were told in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain at 5am. There was no way to get to our hostel except overpaying another 150k to a “taxi” that was already waiting for us (no grab in ninh binh), obviously intentional
Great experience to do once for me. Great to do long distance and able to lye down. Cabin and toilet clean. Food service great. Bed a little too firm. I found it very expensive...but did go first class.
