Wie hier schon einige geschrieben haben, benötigt man einige Unterstützung von anderen thailändischen Reisenden um den richtigen Bus zu finden. Auf dem Ticket steht zwar, wo unser Bus abfahren soll, jedoch stand zu der Zeit ein anderer Bus dort. Unser Bus war nirgends zu finden. Uns wurde dann erstmal gesagt, wir sollten warten. Der nächste Bus, der kam, war nochmal ein anderer, der auch schon längst losgefahren sein sollte.
Im Endeffekt ist unser Bus von einer anderen Plattform und 1 1/2 Stunden später gefahren. Leider gibt es keine Anzeigen, an denen man das nachvollziehen könnte und alle Durchsagen sind auf thailändisch. Also scheut euch nicht, euch durchzufragen und habt Geduld.
Das Personal vom Bus selber war sehr freundlich, hat uns zu unserem Sitzplatz gebracht und hat sogar extra dafür gesorgt, dass wir doch nebeneinander sitzen können, obwohl unsere gebuchten Plätze auseinander lagen.
Auch der Bus war insgesamt ok. Die Toilette entsprach keinen europäischen Standards und die Kopfstützen waren etwas hart und selbst für meine Frau etwas zu tief. Ansonsten konnte man den Sitz immerhin recht weit nach hinten lehnen. Zudem gab es eine Flasche Wasser pro Person und Kekse.
Die Fahrt nach Chiang Rai lief dann aber ohne weitere Verzögerung und wir sind mit den ca. 1 1/2 Stunden Verspätung angekommen.

The driver was riding like crazy. I was in the very front and there were no seat belts. I thought I wouldn't make it. There were also no breaks for a 12h ride. The bus toilet was the most disgusting toilet I've ever seen and I'm used to very nasty ones.

The bus is very cold due to air conditioning being on we were given a blanket, the blanket is in a sealed plastic bag but it is an old blanket and not soft. Noone speaks any English so if you are not sure about something there is noway of finding out. There is no WiFi on the bus. I bought ticket online e and recived a bar code with information but I had to get a paper ticket at the station using the information I was emailed.

Very uncomfortable seats with barely any leg room (saying this as a small person). I was sat in row 2 which might have been the tightest one because row 1 has the most space. My seat would not recline and when the person in front of me fully reclined their seat it was touching my legs and I couldn’t move I was trapped- so I moved to the back where there were extra seats fortunately. The seats were also not very comfy but you get why you pay for
