Good fast ferry. On time again. (4th time taking Oceanjet), but ferries are old and seats small and uncomfortable. Air conditioning is good, but maybe they should invest in some more modern boats. The baggage handlers were good at both sides of the journey.
The women’s toilet didn’t have a seat and didn’t have toilet paper. The other stall’s water didn’t work.
Both movies played were not appropriate or good.
Siquijor pier needs to provide better instructions on retrieving your ticket! We arrived 2 hours ahead of time, and was told last minute when boarding was called to get a ticket at the counter. This should be made known immediately after walking through security. Maybe have a big sign that says something about it?? Absolutely ridiculous and unorganized
They demand printing of the pdf you get to get your ticket. But, if you can't find a printer you can get this printed at the harbor. Totally unnecessary to even need to print out the pdf. They should be able to scan the pdf electronically.
There were a lot of beds and seats left but the website said the beds were sold out.
The boat was almost 2 hours late for departure.
It had a small kiosk, AC working, friendly staff. Pretty ok on cleanliness and condition.
Bring warm clothes, its cold in the air conditioned spaces.
The WiFi is a hassle. You get 10 min free, then you have to get a voucher. This is the interesting part. To get this voucher you have to buy stuff from the kiosk for 300 pesos. But you can't just buy an voucher...
All in all, ok mean of transportation, unless you have a schedule to stick to.
