The trip started by van, traveled 2 hours north from Krabi to a town to get on the tour bus that took us to Bangkok. This was stop one, found dinner nearby. Tour bus was nice, AC and full as expected. Bus seated could be reclined well back for sleeping. Stopped again one last time at midnight for 30 minutes at a restaurant. Driving overnight was good as traffic during the day would have made the trip much slower. Time schedule was on time.
Great trip….good stop off dinner around 10/10:30pm, juice, bottle of water and purple potato bun thingy😄. It was clean, good aircon and charging point too👍. I was going to be irrational and mark it down because I didn’t sleep but I’m a light sleeper anyway and sleeping on a bus ain’t easy in general, ha

The bus journey was smooth but the bus staff was very rude. He didn’t tell us we had dinner break and knew no english. Also, we had to unload our own baggage. He was in a hurry all the time.
Alright bus ride. Friendly employees. Definitely not the bus from the advertisements. Was an hour late leaving but arrived early. Bus itself is getting pretty run down and the bathroom could use some work, anytime someone used it the smell would waft through the bus. The pickup was also not at the Krabi bus terminal like indicated on the ticket. Pretty average for an overnight bus all and all, definitely not the best but definitely not the worst.

Seats very close together. Let off on a street not a bus station in Bangkok.
It’s an average VIP experience and honestly not worth the extra money. I’d recommend just booking a normal ticket instead. The only real difference is sitting downstairs, plus you get some water and a small snack, nothing special.
There was no water in the toilet or even in the sink, which is completely unacceptable. The pickup was also late, and the van made multiple stops before finally heading to Surat Thani.
When you arrive, they rush you off the van, but instead of going straight to the coach, they make you sit there for about 25 minutes so you end up buying food. It all feels like it’s run by the same operator trying to squeeze as much money as possible.
I’ve taken other VIP coach trips that offer far more perks, so this was really disappointing. I feel like I wasted my money, especially since I didn’t get the hotel transfer despite paying a premium price. It also advertised food included, but all I received was water and a small, low quality cake.
Overall, not worth upgrading to VIP
