Carina UThe sleeperbus from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap was comfortable however there was a beeping noise (like in a hospital) coming from the electronics of the driver and on top of that the driver was playing loud music so I could not sleep. When I asked him to stop, he stopped it for a bit and then started again. We left in time but arrived with a 2 h delay. I booked a single ticket but didn't get a single coach but one to share with someone. I have no idea how you could adjust the booking to have a single one.

Claudia ABooked this bus from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap and the bus was to make a stop in Phenom Penh so the bus I got on at Ho Chi Minh was amazing comfortable had WiFi onboard the staff at the office were great. Then we got to Phenom Penh and had to get off to get a different bus to siem reap so went into the office to show my ticket and the staff were all confused couldn’t tell me a time of when the bus would come and I kept being told to speak to a different staff member. After about 20 minutes waiting I was told to follow this man to his tuk tuk and then he drove me bout 15mins to another office and I was told the bus will pick me up here bare in mind there was 4 other people on the original bus going to siem reap but I was the only one sent off in this tuk tuk. Next thing this van pulls up and I am told this will bring me to siem reap so okay got in was other people in the van so okay I get in.
About an 40-60 mins into the journey the vans tire popped and we were at the side of the road while the driver fixed it bare in mind my ticket said I’d be in Siem Reap by 9pm phenom penh is a 6 hour drive it was after 5pm we are at the side of the road while this tire gets changed. Anyway driver changes it fairly rapidly in fairness to him but we didn’t get to Siem reap until 11:30pm was a very disorganized trip I give 2 stars because from Ho Chi Minh to phenom penh it was great just a shame that the experience wasn’t carried all the way through.

Max LI dont understand the bad reviews. We took the bus from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap with a bus-transfer in Phnom Penh and everything worked perfectly. The first bus, from HCMC to Phnom Penh was a very comfortable seater bus with working AC, power sockets, a clean toilet (no paper), bottled water and a small snack. The second bus was a sleeper bus with pretty comfortable beds with a pillow and a blanket included, we slept very good. Be aware that if you book your ticket as a solo traveler you should book one of the solo beds or you could end up cuddling with a stranger. The onboard staff (driver + assistant) were extremly kind and spoke nearly perfect english. They arranged the immigration stuff at the boarder for us, which was very convenient. Due to the several traffic jams and the boarder patrols, the bus was roughly an hour late, which absolutely was not the buses fault. We would definetely take this bus again!
One downside: the bus departed 45 mins early, and we were not informed beforehand, we were just lucky that we were one hour early.

I thought this minivan was a private booking just for us, but it's still picking up and waiting for passengers along the way, so the trip is taking forever. Then it even stopped at a market — I think the driver bought something for their meal.

Magnus GFirst bus was a large coach but no seatbelts. The service through the border was okay, not much communication just following people. Border fee was $30 plus $10 to bus company to handle border paperwork etc. We had to wait a while in Phnom Penh for our connecting bus, after 10mins of being on the bus our driver decided to take a 15min break.. We were 2 hours late, although other customers said arrival time was meant to be 7pm so 3 hrs late as we arrived at 10pm. Second bus was hot and AC was rubbish, it was in the evening so this helped reduce the temperature. We were dropped off at a different location than the PDF/ticket stated so had to ask for help as we'd informed our hotel to collect us. Both buses stopped approx every 2 hrs which was good.
