Avis sur le voyage de Koh Muk à George Town
CA
Callie A
An uncomfortable and stressful experience. It started off well, we eventually found our ferry and were driven to Trang in a private taxi. The woman who drove us to the bus station was very helpful. Sadly it went downhill afterwards. Our first bus driver didn’t give us any information, just dropped us at a bus station. The other drivers who worked there couldn’t tell us where we needed to be because there was no info on our pdf. A lady from a different bus company came and found us, she was also very helpful. We were told to wait 2 hours until the next bus left because we missed the other one, no big deal. The journey was unpleasant, the driver drove very fast over bumpy roads so we would be thrown up, down, all over the place. The driver gave us no information or help when we had to cross the boarder, just stopped and opened the door. When we arrived in George Town, the driver refused to take us to our hotel even though we paid for a transfer service with 12Go. He claimed he didn’t know where it was and demanded 500baht to drive us 10 minutes away. He took all of the other passengers to their transfers with no issues. He dropped us in town despite knowing we had no internet or local currency and left. Not a situation that we should have been in considering we paid for a transfer service. I wouldn’t recommend.
