I am sorry for the dissertation, but a full explanation is required - I booked this transportation service specifically requesting a van with pickup at my hotel. When I received the voucher, the pickup information was vague, so I contacted the company to confirm the location. I received no response. After waiting approximately two hours, I asked a Vietnamese-speaking woman to call the company on my behalf. She spoke directly with the company, and the pickup location was confirmed as my hotel. Approximately ten minutes after that phone call, the company also responded to my message and confirmed that the pickup would be at my hotel. Then, at 10:30 PM the night before our scheduled 8:30 AM departure, the driver messaged me and sent me a photograph of a completely different location, instructing me to meet him there instead of at the hotel. No address was provided. I immediately responded that I did not know where the location in the photograph was and asked for clarification. The driver never responded. The following morning, 17 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, I contacted the driver and said, “Good morning. I just wanted to check in with you regarding our pick up.” He then told me that I needed to move to the location shown in the photograph because his vehicle would not fit at the hotel. I eventually found someone who could identify the location in the photograph. It was approximately a 20-minute walk from my hotel, with luggage. Thankfully, the incredibly kind people at my hotel helped us by putting us on scooters and somehow balancing our luggage so we could make it to the pickup location. When the driver finally arrived, he was driving a large bus, not the van I had specifically booked and paid for. Seeing the bus made it understandable that he could not access the hotel. However, that does not excuse the way this was handled. If the vehicle was too large to access the hotel, the company should have informed me beforehand, provided the new pickup location clearly, and given me an actual address or directions. Sending a photograph of an unknown location to a tourist at 10:30 at night and expecting them to somehow figure out where it is is completely unacceptable. I am a tourist. I am not from here. I don't know the area, and the driver wasn't even capable of telling me where he wanted me to go. Unfortunately, the problems continued once we were on the bus. At one point during the trip, the driver pulled over and picked up three large Styrofoam coolers. He then removed my large suitcase from the luggage storage area and placed it in the walkway of the bus, directly next to the manual gear shift, on its wheels. As a result, my suitcase was rolling around during the trip, repeatedly banging against the door, and eventually fell into the stairwell. When we stopped for a bathroom break, the driver did not move my suitcase. Every passenger sitting in front of me had to climb over my luggage just to get off the bus. When we finally arrived in Cat Ba, the situation became even more ridiculous. The driver was unable to figure out how to remove the remaining luggage from the storage compartment. My travel companion ultimately had to crawl into the luggage hold, move other passengers' luggage and the three Styrofoam coolers out of the way, and locate our luggage himself. Meanwhile, I had to hold the door open because the door was broken. At this point, the entire experience had gone well beyond being inconvenient. It was disorganized, poorly communicated, and completely unprofessional. We have traveled by bus from Siem Reap through Cambodia and throughout Vietnam, using multiple transportation companies along the way. This was, by far, the most disorganized and unprofessional transportation company we have had the displeasure of using. The worst part is that virtually all of these problems could have been avoided with basic communication and organization. If the vehicle needed to be a bus instead of the van I booked, tell me. If the bus cannot reach the hotel, tell me in advance. If the pickup location must change, provide an address. If there is a specific place I need to meet the driver, give me clear directions. And please, for the love of all things civilized, don't put a passenger's large suitcase loose in the aisle next to the driver's gear shift. Overall, this was a miserable transportation experience from beginning to end. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

The first bus was run down and in some spots glued together. The 2nd bus was a lot nicer and both drivers were good. However we had booked a VIP limousine which in the pictures looked to be an extended van with only approx. 10 seats but what we recieved were two buses. Seems like false advertising.

The bus was a little old school but very comfortable and on time - we Loved how the Bus drove right on the Ferry - This Bus company was very organized and pleasant- picked us up right at our Hotel in TamCoc

Nice VIP-Bus (3seats in a row, enough space) drove safely. On time till Ferry, Transfer on cat ba took more time than expected.

On time for pick up, very confortable and pleasant driving.

We had chosen this company for limousine rides. In the end, we traveled in a van with our luggage between us. The last 40 minutes or so went much better once we changed buses.We are very disappointed with the trip.

Comfortable bus with good a/c, pick up was early which meant a delay waiting for other passengers to arrive from another bus, but overall really good

The driver was on time - seemed a bit rushed - and drove safely, but he was very ill (sneezing and coughing badly all the way). I think that's rather irresponsible given many people are in a closed off space for quite a while.
