We arrived a little later, but both drivers were very friendly and waited for the latecomers. The first bus was a bit older, the second was quite new and comfortable.

The bus after the boarder was comfortable and as described. The process of getting to the boarder required us to change buses twice and one of them was very old and mouldy smelling. The operators were not helpful when we asked questions and we were very unsure if we were even on the right bus.

At the boarder the driver left 5 passengers behind in Singapore causing us to wait in Malaysia, bus was old, dirty, and tired with the most uncomfortable seats……..arrived hours late

Quite a nice bus, recliner type chairs that had a massager built into them. The only problem was the head rest was a bit low for my height (5'-11"/180cm) so it was more of a bulge against my shoulders. My shorter wife found the seat to be excellent. Bus was right on time.

Kuala Lumpur is known for its diverse culinary scene, with Nasi Lemak being a standout delicacy. This traditional Malaysian dish consists of rice cooked in coconut milk, served with sambal (spicy chili paste), fried anchovies, peanuts, boiled egg, and cucumber. It is often accompanied by fried chicken or rendang (a type of meat stew). You can savor Nasi Lemak at local eateries and street food stalls, with prices typically ranging from 5 to 15 MYR ($1 to $3 USD).

Another popular local treat is Satay, skewered and grilled meat served with peanut sauce, available at night markets and hawker centers. Is Singapore more crowded or Kuala Lumpur?

Singapore tends to feel more crowded than Kuala Lumpur, especially in popular areas like Orchard Road and Marina Bay. Singapore is a smaller city-state with a high population density, leading to bustling streets and busy public transport during peak hours. In contrast, Kuala Lumpur is more spread out, offering areas that feel less congested despite having busy spots like Bukit Bintang and Petronas Towers.

Both cities offer efficient public transport systems, but Singapore's MRT is known for its punctuality and frequency. For a less crowded experience in Singapore, try visiting attractions early in the morning or on weekdays. In Kuala Lumpur, consider exploring less tourist-heavy neighborhoods and using the city's extensive network of pedestrian walkways to navigate comfortably.
