Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Destination Reviews

VS
Giant Ibis bus to Phnom Penh from Siem Reap City: the journey was nice. There was english speaker crew that informed us about the stops and everything. Definetely recommend this company for the ride.

We booked a VIP van and therefore expected comfortable seats. But since we are quite tall, we didn‘t even fit into the seats (neither width of seats, nor leg room). The ride was very punctual

We left one hour later. We went to the place where it was the meeting point but when we arrived they pick us up to go to another place. Of course, the stop in Phnom Pehn never was the indicated in the voucher. Nobody speaks english. There aren't seat-bells, but, it was cambodian full experience. :)

i was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience especially after reading some of the reviews. We took the overnight Luxury night bus from SR-PP, and not sure if its our luck or it was a new bus but the bus was in excellent condition, the sleeper beds were very clean though a bit odd was that we had to take off our shoes before boarding the bus. They did provide a plastic bag to put the shoes in and also provided a bottle of water. There was USB charging port and reading light for each seat. There was also AC vent for each section so the bus wasnt too cold as i had expected. The length of the sleeper bed could be a bit of an issue for anyone taller/larger than 5ft 9'/ 160lbs. We departed on time and the bus made 1 or 2 stops on the way but arrived in PP 30min early. However the most impressive part is that i left my cap on the bus and only realised it the next morning. So i went to Virak Buntham office in PP and explained to them the issue. After a couple of phone calls, the staff at the counter confirmed they found my cap and told me to come the next morning to pick it up. She even provided her telegram contact upon request and sure enough, next day 7am she messaged me that the cap is ready for pick up. I must say that i was very surprised to get it back as this was not Japan but was glad to be proven wrong. Overall fantastic customer service. Well done to Virak Buntham for excellent service during and after the trip and i wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company.

Bus was on time and there were regular breaks every 2 hours, but the AC was poor. We had seats right at the back and it was very hot the entire way.

The journey has a very good price for the value provided. The bus is comfortable enough and it arrived only 20-30 minutes late than the scheduled time.

The trip went fine! Took the night bus with the small capsules. We left a bit late as we waited for late people but we also arrived 30 minutes earlier.
