Puerto Princesa to El Nido Destination Reviews

GM
The palajuanders company is awful , they didn’t give us the service at all because we have a luggage !

Everything was fine....seats are pretty comfortable loads of leg room so no complaints about that however, A/C is operating on full power. 6h on the bus with A/C on makes you cold after a short while. Change that guys please, turn it down to 50% and still would be nice and chilled but it wouldn't make you cold. Next day I had a sore throat, blocked nose full of mucus and warm body. It's a big thing for me as I feel ill and have absolutely no energy to explore beautiful warm country right now. The other bad point is....first two hours the play a movie and it's loud as f...! We travel on the bus for 6h....and we rather do it in quiet atmosphere so we can have a nap. Let's be fair....no one is I tested watching those old movies from years back. Stop doing this guys. Apart of that great value for money.

Van was 3 hours late. Waiting in the heat. I have used different operators. I would not recommend this company.

Much more spacious than a van. My husband and I are tall people, and we had more than enough space for our llegs on the lazy boy bus 😃 Staff was very friendly and the bus left and arrived on time. Just an advice, wear pants and jacket because the AC is crazyyy. Super cold inside. We strongly recommend this company!

The Worst part was that the driver was playing really loud music for most of the trip. I don't think it was that bad but it could have just been because I was next to a speaker and also tired after a a day of traveling before. The vehicle took multiple which I found unnecessary stops. To fill up gas and a and just randomly waiting for passengers. I mean to me like the trip took way longer and by the time we actually left the office it was half an hour. And then of course we went to get fuel and if you passengers. I mean technically it does say 1 to 2 hours for different for a reason. But also I was disappointed that they just dropped us off nearly in town. Meaning I decided to get a tuk tuk. And I mean literally 5 minutes down the road. I could have probably walked but it was on the main strip so just full of cars. And we arrived at like 8:00 pm after leaving at 1:00.

Trop was ok and in time. Just a pity that the seats are really narrow and not confortable for such a 5h road trip. Fortunately people are very kind and we made several pauses.

We left 1 hour later than planned, we were last to pickup so we stayed in the back of the van. Super small space thrre especially for my husband who is tall, was very uncomfortable stay there 6 hours.

Does Puerto Princesa get more tourists than El Nido?

While Puerto Princesa and El Nido both attract tourists, they cater to different interests. Puerto Princesa serves as the gateway to Palawan and is known for the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. It typically receives more tourists due to its accessibility via the international airport and its role as a transportation hub.

El Nido, famous for its limestone cliffs and island-hopping tours, draws more visitors seeking beach and nature experiences. However, it is less accessible, requiring a longer journey from Puerto Princesa by van or bus (approximately 5-6 hours). Therefore, while Puerto Princesa might see more overall tourists due to transit, El Nido is often the primary destination for those specifically interested in coastal and marine activities.
