Process was smooth and the trip was good with regular toilet breaks. The seats could be more comfortable but you get what you pay for

Nice smooth journey! The Phnom Penh office is very small, so I’m glad our bus wasn’t full. But the bus itself was very spacious and comfortable; we got water bottles and a wet wipe to freshen up. The host was excellent, with clear instructions prior to arriving at stops and the boarder crossing. FYI they only stop once for toilet and food (20min), then there are toilets at the boarder crossing but you have to pay a little to use them. They took our passports to fill out details, but gave them back within an hour of starting the journey, so there was no stress about that. We arrived 1hr late due to evening traffic in HCM which is to be expected.

Pretty average if not lower than competitors. The crew was almost harsh. Unhelpful, didn't explain anything at the border. One of the seat I paid for was stuck on the lower position, so I took the seat next to me that I also booked. My son couldn't join me that day so I had paid for 2 seats and one was empty. The crew didn't believe me, almost yelled at me until I asked him to call the company which confirmed I paid for two seats. Bearing the bus was not even fully occupied. I will not book again with this company

On a journey lasting several hours, it would be more comfortable if drinking water were available for guests. It doesn't cost much and should be included in the price. We've already experienced this service with other providers.

Comfortable bus, clean, good air conditioning, arrived on time and we had support from the staff in the border. They just didn’t speak English, but all went fine.

The bus was very comfortable, and the company was highly efficient. The driver was careful and professional, and the hostess on board was incredibly kind and helpful. He explained everything clearly, including how the trip would go and the immigration process. I would absolutely recommend this service.

Is it safe to drink coffee in Ho Chi Minh City?

Drinking coffee in Ho Chi Minh City is generally safe. Coffee is usually brewed with boiling water, which eliminates potential contaminants. This ensures that your coffee and other beverages are prepared safely.

When purchasing bottled water, a typical 500 ml bottle costs around 5,000 VND ($0.20). For a local coffee experience, try Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da) at cafes, with prices ranging from 15,000 to 40,000 VND ($0.60 to $1.70), depending on the venue.

Do Ho Chi Minh City taxis accept cards?

Most taxis in Ho Chi Minh City primarily accept cash payments in Vietnamese Dong (VND). Some taxi companies may provide card payment options, but this is not universally available. It is advisable to carry cash for taxi fares.

Typical fare for short distances within the city center ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 VND ($2 to $4). For more reliable service, consider using ride-hailing apps like Grab, which allow payment through credit card linked to the app.

Is Ho Chi Minh City better at night or day?

Ho Chi Minh City offers unique experiences both day and night. During the day, explore historic sites like the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace. Visit bustling markets such as Ben Thanh Market for souvenirs and local snacks.

At night, the city comes alive with vibrant street food stalls and lively bars in areas like Bui Vien Street. For a scenic view, consider a dinner cruise on the Saigon River.

Public transportation includes buses and the growing metro system, but taxis and ride-sharing services like Grab are convenient options. Prices for meals range from 50,000 to 200,000 VND ($2-$8). Tap water is not recommended for drinking; opt for bottled water.
