What has not worked was the connection from the Laos Border to Don Khong. So finally t pais $ 5 to go from the border to Don Det not to be overleft at the border. In CM Cambodia all went ok.

From getting on the bus at the bus station to the border and to don det, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. It was such a comfortable smooth ride the whole way and one of the members came into the border checkpoint with us to help as much as possible. Definitely recommend this service.

Clean, comfortable, modern vehicle with friendly staff and good drivers. Snack, water and one meal provided. Excellent assistance to cross the border. A staff member supervised everyone through the border and no one was asked to pay any money other than the USD $40 for the Lao visa. Excellent connection to Don Det which included the transfer to the boat jetty and the boat to Don Det. We were not asked for extra money. We were 3 hours late and the arrival time quoted on the ticket/by agents is unrealistic. There are major roadworks north of Phnom Penh and we waited in Stung Treng for 45 minutes to pick up travellers from Siem Reap. VET offer an excellent service through this border but be aware you will arrive later than expected.

We had a really good experience. The whole trip was well planned by the company and it was easy to transfer from one van to another. We also had 2 meal breaks which one of them was in the office where the people were really helpful for crossing the boarder. Good company to travel with!

The trip from Phnom Penh to Don Det is long, but the logistics of pick up, vehicle changes during the trip and even the river boat transportation to Don Det is quite well coordinated by the company that provides the service. Actually, from the time you are picked up at your hotel in Phnom Penh, until you arrive at the port in Don Det, it takes more than the hours indicated in 12Go, in my case it was almost 12 hours in total including waiting time in restaurants, border crossings and transportation as such. I do not leave the 5 stars because it would be ideal if all drivers could communicate with foreigners in even basic English to make the experience easier and more pleasant. Although some of the various drivers I had on my tour spoke English, there was one who did not (who picked me up in Phnom Penh and dropped me off at a restaurant where you wait for the vehicle that takes you to the border where you leave Cambodia).
