We booked the van for the night trip very spontaneously. We received all the important information about where the van was leaving via WhatsApp, which made it very easy to find the right departure point. We were supposed to be there 30 minutes beforehand, and luckily we were. Because the van arrived at 22:00 and not at 22:30 as booked. Top service, top van - everything was great. We were also able to buy the tickets for the ferry directly in Besut.

The bus in general is comfy, the seats were wide with thick cushions. My bus was a 2 1 set up so good for a solo travel can have a seat for yourself. The seats recline. The only bad thing is the connections are rubbish most people who travel from penang are heading to the perhentian islands and the last ferry is at 5pm. We were late by 45mins so missed the last ferry. So better bus times would be better even if it left an 1hr earlier. The late bus is also no good because it gets you in at 4am and the first ferry is not until 8am.

Got dropped to the wrong place and the driver charged us extra to take us where we needed to go which was the stated drop off point. The driver was driving like we had extra lives to spare, we were meant to arrive at 7/7:30 but arrived at 4:40 which was obviously of no use to us.
