The drive with the boat was delayed but with no other problems. At the boarder the car driver nearly drove off without me - although texting me before - he dropped me off at the wrong hotel -although giving the right address by me, so I had to take a grab to my right hotel. Afterwards he did send me a message around 23 pm „Hello“….which I ignored and another one at 5 am (waking me up with it) with „good morning +my name“ asked why he is sending me these messages he replied „I don’t know“ VERY UNPROFESSIONAL behavior in my opinion.

How many days is enough to stay in Bali?

A stay of 5 to 7 days is generally sufficient to experience Bali's main attractions and culture. This allows time to explore popular areas like Ubud for its temples and rice terraces, Seminyak for beaches and dining, and Uluwatu for its cliffside views and traditional Kecak dance performances.

Renting a scooter (~100,000 IDR per day, or $6.50) or hiring a driver (~600,000 IDR per day, or $39) can help you cover more ground efficiently. Consider visiting local markets and trying Balinese cuisine like Babi Guling (roast pork) or Nasi Campur (mixed rice).

Note that tap water in Bali is not safe for drinking; use bottled water instead. This itinerary provides a well-rounded glimpse into Bali's unique blend of natural beauty, culture, and relaxation.

Is Bali best place for family trip?

Bali offers numerous family-friendly attractions and activities. Families can explore cultural sites like the Uluwatu Temple or enjoy a day at Waterbom Bali, a large water park. The beaches, such as Nusa Dua and Sanur, are suitable for children with calm waters.

Transportation: Renting a car with a driver is convenient for families, costing around IDR 600,000-800,000 per day ($40-$53).

Dining: Many restaurants offer both local and international cuisines, with family-friendly options available. Meals typically cost IDR 50,000-150,000 per person ($3-$10).

Accommodation: Family resorts and villas are plentiful, with prices ranging from IDR 1,000,000-2,500,000 per night ($67-$167), depending on location and amenities.

Tap water is not safe to drink; bottled water is recommended. Families will find Bali accommodating with plenty of activities and services tailored to children.

Is it legal to sleep on the street in Bali?

Sleeping on the street in Bali is generally not legal and is discouraged. Local authorities may view it as vagrancy, which can lead to fines or being asked to move. Additionally, it poses safety risks and is not culturally accepted.

For budget-conscious travelers, Bali offers affordable accommodation options such as hostels and guesthouses, with prices starting around IDR 100,000-200,000 ($6.50-$13) per night. It is advisable to secure lodging in advance to ensure a safe and pleasant stay.
