Pickup were booked on Hotel 8.30a.m.. No SMS, no call, no anything till 9.15 a.m.. We called ourselves and were send from you to the bus station. First nobody knows there anything. At 9.45 a.m. some guy asked „12Go?“ then get us to the minibus. Nothing to clap our hands…

The driver only took a break at the request of a passenger. He took 1.5 hours longer than stated, even though the road was clear. He drove far too slowly. The potholes cannot be the reason, because on the way there, there was much more traffic and we took a long break and made it in the regular 4 hours. The bus also dropped us off somewhere completely different and drove past the specified destination. We missed our connecting train because of the significant delay.

We were lucky. We had a transfer from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang with a Minivan. The driver drove cautious. The driver was on time. After 2h we‘ve got a short break. We both sat next to driver. I had no safety belt. But no one of us got sick, that was important for us. The Bus was very full.

Everything was perfect. A tuktuk picked me up in my hotel on time, we went to Nong Khiaw bus station. We got the tickets to the bus there and picked the minivan. Our luggage on the top, no AC though, just fresh air and open windows. Quite comfortable and as much as possible safe driving. Not complaining, I recommend. Thank you.
