In spite of the delay due to weather conditions, all in all we enjoyed a pleasant trip, by and large with the amenities we might expect. I'm a foreigner living in the Philippines for the past decade (Visayan speaker) with a background in railways, passenger and freight transportation, transport infrastructure development and transport policy, and tourism, with an extensive travel history. the baggage handling fees were exhorbitant 1200 peso. the food was terrible, not much flavour and always cold. i find it hard to believe that a cook (cannot use the word chef) can be that bad.
