Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City Destination Reviews

We hated our journey. We booked seats on a premium luxury bus, only to end up with people lying in the aisle, blocking access to the toilets and making noise. We felt unsafe and had no privacy at all. The bus attendant opened our curtains without warning and did not answer our questions about the progress of the trip. They completely ignored us, leaving us uncertain and in the dark. DO NOT RECOMMAND

The busride was horrible, it was the worst I ever had in whole Asia! I booked a first class sleeper bus with a comfortable bed amd got a small thing where I couldn't sit without hitting my head, I couldn't even stretch out my legs and I am not tall. It was soooo loud that my ears hurt (because i lied next to a very unstable wall, that separated my bed from the toilet and that rattled extremely) and so bumpy that i got a headache. The driver drove like crazy and i was scared that i would fell out of the bed because it was so bumpy and there was not even a belt to have at least some security. And now the worst thing: they dropped me off far away from the actual drop-off point. The drop-off point on my ticket would have been near to my hostel in walking distance, but now i had to pay 200.000 for a taxi! I told the driver but he just didn't care and left me at a terrible gasstation in the middle of nowhere. I already texted the bus company via WhatsApp but they didn't even respond.

There were people smoking on the bus, I have asthma and this made it very difficult for me to breathe and sleep. There were people sleeping on the floor, so access to the bathroom and general movement around the bus was restricted. My friend was at the back of the bus and someone was sleeping on the sofa next to the bed with his feet on her bed near her face. This is not at all a VIP experience. We do expect some compensation for this 18 hour horrific experience. The bus also left 2 hours earlier due to traffic, we ended up getting to our destination 5 hours early. Please could you let me know what you are going to do about this. Considering we spend £30 GBP STERLING we expected our basic rights of cleanliness and health to be respected and valued. Thank you.

The worst experience i have had with a sleeperbus. The driver was smoking inside, which you could smell in the whole bus, the bus horn, which was absurd loud, was used constantly throughout the whole trip. And packages were being picked up along the way. Book it if you want to get no sleep

We were driven by a taxi from the office to the bus: the taxi was taking so long driving around the city. Arriving at the bus, the man organizing everything was rude and very loud. Information about stops not in English and we arrived not at the end stop the booking said and the man on the bus once again was rude and not that willing to help. The bus ride was ok all in all, nevertheless I would choose a bus with more space the next time.

Generally the journey was good. There were some unexpected changes at the start and end of the journey, but didn't have to wait around too long. There's a toilet on the bus, but we made some additional stops too.

There was some complications about my seat resevation. I wanted a seat on the floor because I walk with a cane. And I also payed ekstra to get ekstra service. But they didnt reply when I text them. But the buss ride was great! Good drivers. Was glad to see they took sleeping brakes and switch on driving. And there were two longer breaks. Many only have one. (Hoi An-HCMC. 19 hours)

There were 5 men who sat in the aisle so you couldn’t go to the toilet without jumping and climbing over them. When I went the toilet they took my bed and layed in it. They layed there for 2 hours in the bed with all my stuff in it when I sat with my friend.
