Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An Destination Reviews

AC
The staff were so rude and unhelpful, such little communication. Made so many random stops and deliveries throughout the night and the driver was obsessed with beeping the horn repeatedly 5 seconds. So if you want to actually sleep, bring good ear plugs. We also didn’t get dropped off to the location it said and were offered a shuttle bust for the remainder 20 minutes of the journey

Our tourbus driver drove like a madmen, and actually killed a motorcyclist 1 hour before arriving in Hoi An. since then we have been trying to contact the company, however, they keep ignoring our messenges. Please, could someone from your services come into contact with us because people need to be warnes about them. Through this platform this company came recommended, however, after investigating some more, reviews and experiences online were terrible!

So far, the most bad “expectation vs reality” case in our trip. Communication: at no point you are informed about what the hell is going on. Pick up point is changing at the last moment, and although you are expecting a bus to pick you up, some rushing dude with a van just pull up and packing your bags to the van without any explanation, pointing at the van door for you to get in for an hour long drive. You don’t even sure who he is and if his intention is to kidnap you and sell your kidney or something. You just have to find out after an hour that he is driving you to the bus (a meaning of transportation to the meaning of transportation which makes sense especially when the whole thing is a surprise for you.. guess they thought we love surprises). It’s like that the whole trip. Nothing is accurate in the formal trip documentation provided and in general during the whole trip. Conditions: They placed us in beds right beside the toilet. Where its smells like sh!t the whole 18 hours drive. The beds are smaller than the standard and i guess that they are right above the engine because they were hot as hell. We paid for VIP class like everyone else and when confronted the staff about the lesser my conditions, they just used translating app to tell us that everyone else just bought their tickets before us (they couldn’t know that, at no point they asked for our names or tickets so in other words, they just said “fu€k off it is what it is.”). To spice up the experience, every now and then, one of the staff members just had to vomit his guts in the toilet with the door open, spraying it everywhere. The smell was in 4k + someone was smoking on the bus. No staff member was accessible because they just napped the whole way. Even if the weren’t, non of them is speaking a word in the international language, which is a bit odd given the service they are providing is mainly for tourists but ok i guess.. After about 16 hours, we finally got some sleep. The drive came to an end and they woke us up in the most VIP way, poking us and shoving the following exact translated text to our faces: “pack your stuff and get off” terminator style. In general it just felt like we were sheep being transported next to a $hit hole with no information being provided during the ride, the given info in the documentation is far from being accurate and the connection between the experience and “VIP” does not exist. Shame…

NO TOILETS and no idea when we will next stop! Stopper 2 times in a 16 hour journey. Made to feel very uncomfortable as a female solo traveller. Men coming behind my curtain to grab my hand and sniff it, putting me on FaceTime to their relatives. I know this is all part of the Asian culture but I wouldn’t go again, I felt super uncomfortable and stressed the entire trip.

Staff were extremely rude when anyone asked them a question. Such as how long is this break. They would just shout at us to hurry up and eat or go to the toilet. I fell asleep and it was only for another solo traveller waking me up that I got off at the right stop or else they would have kept going despite asking me previously where I was aiming to go to. Very disorganised.
