Driver was not kind and not on time

Overbooked first car, so a girl had to sit og her boyfriends lap... Took os to another company in Hanoi to real minibus The ride from Hanoi to Ninh Binh was fine, in the promised "Limousine Van" with good A/C and a bottle of water. No stops tho, and crazy driving, even more crazy than other drivers. From Ninh Binh to Tao Coc was yet another car, but this ride was fine. Overall a wierd experience, drivers knew no English and the first two drove like crazy.

The bus was delayed and there was a bit of disorganization, but that is something that happens frequently here in Southeast Asia. But overall, it was fine.

Car was great. However, the rest of the experience was horrible. We get picked up and then pursue to pick up the rest of the people who is driving with us. I understand that this is part of the service, but it took as long as the trip itself as we were the first to get picked up. More than an hour in Hanoi morning traffic. We finally get to the Van, which have to get us to Tam coc. This van was great as said before, but when the driver chooses to drive more than 210km/h and uses the horn everytime he passes another car, then the comfort is not compensating the slighest bit. A side note for recommendation - please give some guidelines on how to behave as a pasenger. There was a guy doing multiple phone calls (around 10), screaming into the phone on every call. I get you want to kill time, and you are of course allowed to talk on the phone or it might be nessecary - But calling your whole family and friends - and then ignore the fact that there are other people in the van who doesn’t give one damn, then please recommend them to buy there own private transportation if they are that important.

Everything as expected. Ride was smooth and on time. Van was pretty comfy with leather massage seats.

Two stars because we were on time and that the journey started on time. How that happened is one star. Like others before we were brought to another place from the same agency were we changed from a van with no seatbelts to the 9-seater mini bus you see on all the pictures. This short trip to the south of Hanoi took exactly one hour. Both drivers didn’t speak English, wich I can accept when the agency takes care they stick to the plan. Concerning a decent driving style, this didn’t apply. Changing lanes all the time taking every single opportunity to overtake (left or right). If this is not what your are in for take the train. It’s not really slower and less dangerous. Grab is an alternative as well with ca double the price (15€ instead of 8€ for the mini busses), the drivers mostly speak English and will be happy to accommodate any driving style. If you like risky driving, abrupt braking and constant honking go with Ninh Binh Luxury SSB Grouptour. It’s a fair option, we did it and might repeat the experience when the train is overbooked…

Too many times you had to switch the mini van. The driver was riding the car a bit aggressively.

Driver tried asking for more money saying I hadn’t paid at our hostel he was very rude, first bus was perfect however

Clean vehicle, but our driver was a rude and angry person who treated us and the other passengers as numbers instead of people. He drove fast, but safer comparing to the drivers in Indonesia :P Downside to this is the bumping experience in the back of the minivan
