Lovely experience, on time (actually got to the destination 30mins early!), lovely staff and a smooth journey. I think it definitely depends upon the weather conditions as to whether it is a good or bad journey but for me, it was sunny and the water was still so couldn't fault it at all! They even provided anti-sickness tablets at the beginning just in case :)

Best company to drive to the islands. Very pleasant crossing, we felt very safe. The boat/ship is very large, so you don't notice much swell. Remember to buy the tickets (at home) beforehand! Otherwise not available in high season!

We booked a trip from Gili Air to Nusa Penida with Bali Tours (=Semaya Group). In the Voucher Pdf it didnt say where the check in in Gili Air was so we had to text via Whatsapp. The Google Maps Point was inaccurate and the Image they sent was old but it worked. Upon Check in they told us that we would need to stop at Padang Bai and change to a second ship to Nusa Penida. They offered a direct ship that would leave 2 hours later but we declined. We were supposed to leave at 10.15. After waiting at 10.50 we were told to go to lombok bangsal by public ferry because the ship could not go to gili air. There we got onto the right boat and took of at 11.15. The ship was Ok, but it had no A/C at the start, so it got quite hot. As it turned out this was actually good, because after 30 minutes they turned it on and it got so cold that we couldnt sit there anymore. this was only for 12 places right under the A/C but it's designed poorly that it blows directly at some seats and not at the rest. After sitting on the outside we arrived in Padang Bai but we had to wait about 25 Minutes in the bay because the harbor was busy, but this wasnt much of the boat operators fault. When then got on a smaller boat and rode to Nusa Penida. Because the sea was rough and the boat small it was a really hard ride and the boat repeatedly fell about 1 m back onto the sea after waves which was really loud and uncomfortable. Arrival was ok but you'd arrive in their seemingly abandoned hotel where a lot of people were waiting trying to be your taxi and would probably make u overpay a lot. All in All about 2 Hours late.
