Unfortunately, we were dropped off at the wrong pier, even though we had been assured otherwise. Because of the taxi mafia, we had to pay a lot of money to be driven to the other side of the island.

Gili air to Penida fine but then we were off loaded onto a tiny boat (12 ish) people with big waves. Quite frightening and all the bags and us got wet

Note that this boat does not go directly to Yellow Bridge, you need to get on a tiny water taxi at the end where we were all completely soaked with water including our bags. The large boat ride was one of the scariest experiences of my life but I think that was due to the swell that day versus this company. But would not recommend this company as the transfer and taxi boat was a bad experience. The boat arrived 2 hours late.

If you want a direct ferry - don't book it! We started in Gili Air and arrived in Nusa Penida after 2:20h. It was a very bumpy ride and the people in the back got quite wet. Then we had to go off the boat, pay 25k IDR island fee per person, drive 20min on a bus to a beach. There we had to wait another 20min and then took a small boat for 10min to Nusa Lembongan yellow bridge. You don't arrive on the other side of the island -as it was advertised- so we had to get a 15min taxi for another 100k IDR. Can't recommend.
