I would like to share the experience I had with this company today. The bus that was originally scheduled to depart at 7:00 PM had already been delayed to 7:30 PM at around 3:00 PM. I arrived at approximately 6:30 PM to wait for the bus, but it still had not arrived by 7:30 PM. It turned out that I had been sitting outside this company’s office the entire time, yet nobody even bothered to tell me that I could come inside and wait in the air conditioning instead of sitting outside in the heat. Later, I was told that the bus had been involved in an accident, which I find very strange. If they already knew about this situation in advance, why didn’t they notify their passengers, arrange another bus, reschedule the trip, or at the very least cancel it so that I would have had the opportunity to find another way to get to Da Nang? When I explained that I had a flight to catch that night, they demanded proof. However, I see absolutely no reason why I should have to provide my personal travel documents to strangers. In the end, I had no choice but to take a taxi to Da Nang, which cost me 1.3 million VND, including toll road fees. This caused me unnecessary stress and significant additional expense. On top of that, the driver initially gave me one pickup location and then changed it to another, creating even more confusion before the trip had even begun. The employee quickly walked away into another room instead of helping to resolve the situation, leaving us alone to deal with the problem ourselves. I insisted that they refund my bus ticket, but unfortunately nobody even offered to compensate me for the additional costs I had to pay just to get to Da Nang. This was completely unacceptable and showed a total lack of respect for customers. Had they informed passengers in advance, I would have had the opportunity to find another way to travel. Instead, I was expected to sit there indefinitely, waiting without any idea of when—or even if—the bus would arrive.

The seat was very comfortable, and the arrival time was only delayed by less than 30 minutes. The only thing I have to criticize is that the drop-off point was at a completely different spot than it should have been according to 12go; it was much farther outside the city.

A van picked us up from the airport and took us to the office, where we boarded a very comfortable bus for a 2.5-hour journey. Communication with both the office staff and the driver was very helpful (WhatsApp msg) For this type of trip, you should be a little flexible, as the departure time may be up to an hour earlier than scheduled. However, we didn’t experience any delays on this specific trip

I arrived at my destination, but ran into two issues: 1. The driver continually tried to get me to pickup at times drastically earlier. I booked a 13:00 pickup, only for the driver to tell me to “be ready at 11:30”?? No, I booked a 13:00! We went round and round until he finally agreed to just meet me when and where HIS shuttle said it would meet. 2. We were delayed by 45 minutes. It’s not the end of the world, but after he showed up 15 minutes late to my pickup time, I was hoping to at least arrive at my destination in a reasonably timely manner. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

The driver spent a long time picking up other passengers all over the city, but this was not mentioned anywhere in the booking information. As a result, we left Da Nang about an hour later than scheduled I received the vehicle information less than an hour before departure, and when I asked for the car number, I didn’t get a reply for about 30 minutes There were three people sitting in the back seat for the entire 2.5-hour journey, which was very uncomfortable I would not recommend booking with this operator

Train

Train is a often a great choice for long-haul travel especially if you opt for a night sleeper train with berths which will allow you to sleep all your journey through. To make the most of your train journey, choose the class of your ticket wisely.

Note that there are air-conditioned and fan-only carriages; private compartments for 2 or 4; hard and soft seats.
Though the upper class you get the smoother is your journey, often second class air-conditioned or fan-only sleepers are a good money saving alternative.

Van

Vans are a great alternative - or, in many cases - your only option - if you need to travel overland within one and the same province or neighbouring provinces or states. Vans ply the roads between Da Nang and Hue, too.

Things to remember: When travelling by van with huge luggage buying a separate seat for your suitcase or backpack is a good idea. Do not expect there is a roomy luggage compartment in a van - there is actually none and your fellow passengers are unlikely to appreciate your luggage stuck under their feet, alas.
