Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City Destination Reviews

JT
The stated pick-up point in Dalat is just a roadside. They will likely not pick you up from there and you are best contacting them to confirm the pick-up. Also the company name on here is not the actual bus company name so it’s hard to find their location. It said you arrive in HCM at 6:30am with it taking 8 hours but this isn’t true. You arrive at 3:30am and they leave you at a gas station. No-one told me we had arrived and had I been asleep I wouldn’t have got off the bus. Not worth the extra cost for what is only a 5 hour trip

I booked this ride because it was night ride that was supposed to arrive around 6:30am at HCMC and arrived at 4am. We were told through voice messages before the bus ride started that we were going to stop twice to use toilets and eat something, we ended up just stopping once in a petrol station where there was nowhere to buy something to eat. Even though the bus was high-end there was no toilet in, compared to most of the cabin bus I’ve taken in Vietnam. In addition there were only 4-5 people in the bus and was assigned a cabin where the charging ports and the TV where not working. Overall, poor experience for the price compared to other bus companies.

The bus itself is great, very comfy. The staff, however, are extremely rude. Nasty attitude problems. Refused to pull over to let me go pee on the side of the road even though I was in terrible pain. Shooed me away annoyed. The A/C was on high blast the whole time so it was freezing and the blankets are not warm. People closed their vents because it was blasting so hard, which made a loud high pitched whistling noise making it hard to sleep.

Was supposed to arrive at 7 am, we arrived at 04:30 am. We take nightbus to sleep, not to be dropped off much earlier in the middle of the night.

Very rude driver. Next time, we will use another company just because of this bad driver.

The smallest beds on any sleeper bus we’ve been on because they were 3 across. The beds are definitely build for Vietnamese there for great as long as you’re not taller than 5 feet. What should have taken 6 hours 45 minutes (as advertised) took 9 hours and 15 minutes.

This was the worst experience I have had on a bus. The driver sped the whole time which made it a very jerky ride. This was a sleeper bus from 10:30pm to 6:30am where people were sleeping so slow down. Next he arrives 3 hour early in Ho Chi Minh. I chose this specific bus so I could sleep 7 to 8 hours on the bus. 3:30am in the morning we get kicked of the bus with lack of sleep and no where to go. If I wanted to arrive at 3:30 I would have chose the other bus routes. It seemed the driver only cared about getting to the destination as fast as possible, not caring about the passengers aboard. If you have a schedule stick to that schedule and tell your driver to slow down. I could understand arriving an hour early but three hours is unacceptable.
