Hotelier chain opens new Bangkok establishment

A leading global hotelier opened a new property in downtown Bangkok late last week. The InterContinental Hotels Group staged the official opening ceremonies for the Hotel Indigo last Friday and it is now welcoming its first guests.

The Indigo is situated on Wireless Road in the central Lumphini District of the Thai capital. It is just a stone’s throw away from the famous Lumphini Park and the legendary nightlife zone of Patpong.

The hotel’s accommodation comprises 192 tastefully appointed rooms which offer guests conveniences such as mini-bars, satellite televisions and stereos. Spread over the 25th and 26th floors, the Char bar and grill takes diners on a gastronomic odyssey while skilled bartenders at the 22 Steps serve up nectar-like cocktails.

Additional bonuses at the Indigo include a health and fitness centre equipped with cutting-edge equipment, complimentary internet connectivity and concierge and business services to suit every occasion. To mark the opening, Indigo’s management team are running a promotion on room rates through to 30 June 2015.
