In spite of solar tuk-tuk benefit for ecology, the Cambodian government and drivers meet new solar tuk-tuk, which will appear in next March already, with a lot of doubts. We would remind you that Australian company Star 8 is going to build a factory for making solar tuk-tuk in Cambodia. The construction will start soon.

It is expected that new vehicle will cost between $2,000 and $3,000 at that time the price on usual tuk-tuk now is about $2,000. Cambodian Government worries of condition country’s roads. Drivers are not ready to pay big money for new product, which never was tried before.

So solar tuk-tuk has generated mixed reactions in Cambodia. Let's see later it will be claimed or not.
