Shanghai Disney Resort Patially Reopens

Shanghai Disney Resort will partially reopen on Monday, the management of the resort has announced recently. While the Disneyland park itself will remain closed, selected shopping, dining and recreational venues will welcome guests again.

The resort closed down temporarily on January, 25, to prevent the potential spread of the virus. Now with the situation in China improving, it will go through 'a phased reopening' of which this is the first step.

After reopening, the venues around the resort will operate under limited capacity and during limited hours. The resort will post the related timetables and opening hours on its official website and WeChat account.

The new opening hours of Disneytown are between 11 am and 7 pm; the Wishing Star park – between 10 am and 5 pm.

Also, special regulations are introduced in the resort according to which every guest entering Shanghai Disney Resort should be screened for fever upon their arrival and present their Health QR Code when entering dining venues. All visitors should wear a medical mask while on the grounds of the resort.

Shanghai Disney Resort is a themed resort located in Pudong, Shanghai. Opened to the public on June 16, 2016, it became the first Disney park resort in mainland China and the second in China after the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
