Qatar has barred entry to the country for travellers from 14 nations around the world. Yet if you are connecting via the Hamad International Airport in Doha flying on Qatar Airways you will not be affected and will be allowed to proceed to your destination, even if your flight originates from one of the countries listed below.

Under the direction of government authorities of the State of Qatar, as a preventive measure to limit the spread of Coronavirus, entry to Qatar is temporarily suspended for all those travelling from the following countries:

Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria and Thailand.

Stopover services in Doha for the purpose of connection offered in the frame of Discover Qatar campaign are placed on a temporary hold, too. All the current stopover bookings will be cancelled and passengers with onward connections will not be permitted to leave Hamad International Airport (HIA). A full refund will be offered to all affected passengers.

Also, some of the services to/from the above mentioned countries have been amended or cancelled. All Qatar Airways passengers are recommended to check their flight status as the situation can change at short notice.
