At Suvarnabhumi airport, there are currently 5 entry screening points with thermal scans and handheld thermometers. At departure, there 4 similar screening points.
Travellers arriving from the Disease Infected Zones pass through the extra entry screening. It is located at parking bays adjacent to Concourses C, E, F and G for separate entry screening upon arrival.
While currently there is no compulsory quarantine for travellers from DIZ, anyone with a history of travel to the COVID-19 epidemic areas whose body temperature is found 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher and who is having respiratory symptoms including cough, runny nose, sore throat or shortness of breath will be isolated and transferred to a designated hospital for quarantine or treatment.
At Don Mueang airport, additional screening points with handheld thermometers are opened at the both terminals at Departures – Immigration and security screening as well as at Arrivals – entry screening. These compliment the entry screening points at the International Arrivals, Level 1, International Passenger Terminal 1.
Due to screening, all travellers are advised to arrive both to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports three hours before departure to allow enough time for screening queues.
