VietJet Launches Three More Direct Flights to India in May 2020

VietJet, a Vietnam-based international low-cost carrier, will open three new direct routes between Vietnam's largest hubs and popular destinations in India in May this year.

The new routes will link Da Nang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam with India’s largest economic, political and cultural centres of New Delhi and Mumbai.

Effective from May, 14, VietJet will fly between Da Nang and New Delhi as well as between Hanoi and Mumbai. The Da Nang–New Delhi route will be operated five times a week, while there will be three weekly flights serving the HanoiMumbai route.

The Ho Chi Minh City–Mumbai route will be added the next day, May, 15th with four weekly flights.

Representatives of the airline said that the launch of these routes will help VietJet meet the growing demand for the regional air travel.

The addition of the three direct routes between Vietnam and India will make VietJet the airline with the largest number of direct services between the two countries. Currently, VietJet operates flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to New Delhi
