Where to Take Best Pictures for Instagram in 2020?

A popular travel website, Big 7 Travel, has recently published their list of the world's most instagramable places. How many have you been to yet?

The list includes 50 destinations worldwide which have very recognizable or signature landmarks, landscapes or just spots or sights which are unmistakably 'local'. Out of 50 entries, 15 are located in Asia-Pacific – hey, what a beautiful region to travel and take pictures, is it not?

Many of our beloved regional star destinations made it up to the list, including the amazing Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, the cosmopolitan capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, or Taipei in Taiwan which is gaining popularity very quickly.

Yet we are somewhat surprised not to see among the best instagramable places of the world the ancient city of Bagan in Myanmar which was finally recognized as the UNESCO World Heritage Site last year; neither impressive setting of the centuries-old Angkor temples in Cambodia nor Luang Prabang in Laos, oozing the French colonial charm combined with graceful Buddhist architecture, were mentioned, either.

Yet the Big-10 is nice (and features 6 of our regional gems!):
1. Sydney, Australia
2. Hong Kong
3. Dubai, UAE
4. New York City, USA
5. Singapore
6. Tokyo, Japan
7. Lisbon, Portugal
8. Bali, Indonesia
9. London, UK
10. Jaipur, India
