ANA Launches New Flight&Accommodation Air Pass

All Nippon Airways (ANA),  the largest airline in Japan, has launched a new air pass which includes not only multiple flights but also unlimited house rentals allowing visitors to tour Japan on a budget and have an immersive experience into the everyday life of locals.

The airline revealed its plan to launch a new air pass last autumn after having joined hands with Address, a Japanese accommodation provider.

For a flat monthly fee, the lodging company provides members with unlimited nights in its properties, which are located across Japan and are essentially refurbished homes. ANA, from its side, adds two sets of extremely affordable round-trip airplane tickets every month.

Last week, ANA and Address began accepting sign-up applications for the program, which starts on January 31.

The one-month air&lodging pass will cost JPY40,000 (USD365) for accommodation and JPY30,000 (USD275) for two sets of flights. This actually means that paying just JPY70,000 per month (USD640) you will have a decent home-style accommodation along your route and air transport for visiting at least two more regions of Japan.

At the moment nine domestic routes are included into the program. They are all operated by ANA and connect Tokyo’s Haneda Airport with Shin Chitose (Sapporo), Tottori, Takamatsu (Kagawa), Fukuoka, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima airports.
