MyCity Pass and KL Heritage Food Trails Help Tourists Explore Kuala Lumpur

To help visiting foodies explore some of Kuala Lumpur's best food districts on a budget and as part of Visit Malaysia 2020 campaing, Tourism Malaysia, Prasarana Malaysia and MRT Corp have joined hands to launch the MyCity Pass and KL Heritage Food Trails.

The MyCity Pass is a railway pass for tourists and other non-regular commuters. The pass covers unlimited rides on Prasarana’s integrated rail which includes the LRT, MRT and monorail plus bus rapid transit (BRT) network but within a limited travelling period. The LRT, MRT and BRT boast a wide network that covers  the Greater Klang Valley area, hence the pass will provide tourists a convenient access to KL and Selangor, both  served by a network of rail and BRT.

Some popular tourist attractions that can be easily reached using the MyCity Pass include the Petronas Twin Towers, Central Market and Bukit Bintang.

Currently there are two types of passes – a one-day pass that costs MYR10, and a MYR25 three-day pass. Both allow passengers enjoy unlimited travel. When the pass is bought for the first time, the buyer will have to additionally pay MYR5 for the card and MYR5 as a minimum store value.

The KL Heritage Food Trails developed by Tourism Malaysia focus on three foodie's hotspots: Kampung Baru, Petaling Street and Brickfields. Experienced tour guides are ready to help visitors get most of their tour, dine like a local and taste the country's best signature dishes.
