This year, the event is scheduled between January, 29–February, 2.
The Narayan Niwas Palace, a perfect example of the splendor and magnificence of the Rajput era, and Nachana Haveli, an 18th century abode of the royal family, now both being heritage hotels, will become the main stage of the festival that celebrates Jaisalmer's rich heritage and culture, paying tribute to Rajasthan's traditions as well.
During the festival, visitors will have an opportunity to take part in heritage walks, attend art exhibitions and world music concerts, listen to sufi music at the sand dunes at sunset, try their hand in immersive workshops ranging from ancient crafts to contemporary media and design, and taste outstanding local dishes. Well, and, obviously, it is a great chance to spend a night in a heritage hotel in the very heart of the Thar desert in the historical city of Jaisalmer.
Established with an ambitious aim to beat all other cultural events in the country, Reth is now a must-visit festival for all music, architecture, and art lovers. The festival offers a lot in the sense of creative learning, too.
